One year ago,we had been evicted from our shady apartment forcing us to live with his parents ( which we will be forever grateful for) and Ben was unemployed. 1 year and 2 weeks later Ben has a job with benefits ( he’s actually working at my school) and we are moving out to our own place! I was reflecting on all this today remembering how depressed and stressed out I was when this all went down, and how Ben kept promising me it would get better and we would get on our feet again. I don’t know why I didn’t believe him, I should really learn to trust him when he says things, he’s the only person in my life who has yet to let me down.
